I believe in Christ; so come what may

 Hello Family and Friends,

Thank you so much for all the mail that I have received recently :) I am so grateful to be able to hear from each of you! You all have no idea how uplifting it is! Thanks a million!!

So my sister has officially started college now. SAY WHAT?!?!? So I thought I might tell you some things I love about her because she is super awesome and I have been thinking about her a lot recently:

She is so spiritually in-tune. She has got the language of the spirit down. She knows her stuff in the gospel and little temptations don't get to her. For real. She recognizes the Spirit when it's there and she lets you know. Every time I hear about one of her triumphs or revelations I just tear up...like a lot.

She is so fun to be around. She lifts everyone up. She includes others. She loves to be happy and have a good time. She makes friends instantly.

She is a great judge of people. In a righteous way. All in all, I would never marry anyone unless I had her approval. It's like she can see through the natural man.

She is so loyal and honest. You better believe that when you tell her something she will not tell anyone else, because she won't. She has always been my best friend and she always will be my best friend.

She is super diligent. She does it and she gets it done. She is also really bright and intelligent. She soaks it all in.

She is missionary minded. She has given lots of friends copies of The Book of Mormon. How neat is that? That's pretty neat!!!! She will be an amazing full time missionary in the future.

I know that there are many more awesome things about my sister! I know that she is using all of these talents to choose the best friends in college and to lift other people. I have no doubt that she will succeed and I pray for her everyday.

This week has been a tough one. My companion got attacked by a dog. It bit her broken toe! Bless her heart. She is such a trooper. On Thursday she had to get it checked for rabies :( Doctor Olson, a member in our stake confirmed that it was broken. He said that it was not a rabid bite! Thank goodness! We were so worried that it would require huge shots for her. We were both so nervous. The whole appointment actually ended up being quite a spiritual experience. Weird right?!?!? NO!!! He is such an inspired man. He is a spiritual giant. We talked about the Word of Wisdom and the Atonement. It was really eye opening. I have never had such a great Doctor experience.

We also found out that our mission mom, Sister Rosemary Neider, has cancer again. She has already gone home and we miss her a lot. Pray for her. she has been a great example to me of faith, obedience, diligence, strength, and enduring to the end. Sometimes Sister Herman and I ask ourselves, WHAT WOULD SISTER NEIDER DO? We know she would always choose the right even if it was hard.

Sister Herman and I have noticed a trend recently. Everyone is trying to give us marriage advice. Tons of members and non-members have something to say about the people that we should marry. I think the greatest take-away for me is that we look and see how he treats his mother and his sisters (if applicable). Luckily I have already learned that first hand...but it was a good reminder. It is so interesting to me when members feel moved by the spirit to tell us something. Obviously it is something that Heavenly Father wanted us to remember :) I am grateful that he works through His children.

Another event. Sister Ayala, a recent convert in the ward, had a heart attack. We were going over to visit her weekly and she was doing really well. She studies her scriptures everyday and she is always at church. After the heart attack, we went to go see her in the hospital. She is really having a hard time, but she was still smiling. It is wonderful to see that God truly watches over His children. We are praying that she will have a speedy recovery.

Well...that is enough about medical stuff. I AM NOT GETTING TRANSFERRED!!!! I am staying with Sister Herman here in Vegas Valley for another transfer. My mission has been surprisingly predictable. 4 transfer each area. 2 transfer each companion. I like it :) I am praying that I don't get a crazy for my last transfer.

CHERVINE GOT BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY!!!!! YAYYYYYYYYYYY!
It was so wonderful to see her all dressed in white. We made it to Green Valley just in time to see the ordinance. We were able to just slip into the back unnoticed...but then when Bishop Durham got up to welcome her into the ward he saw me and asked me to get up and bear my testimony. I was so honored. It was so amazing to get up and testify to so many people that I have come to love :) That was definitely the highlight of my week. I hope and pray that the rest of Chervine's family will accept the gospel. Baby steps.

Now time for Questions of Your Soul!!!!

Who has the most potential of the people you are teaching now?
-Mia! She is so wonderful. She loves to read the Book of Mormon. She has such a sweet little spirit. She goes to church every week. She just loves the church. the only problem is that her mom won't let her get baptized yet. Story of my life.

What is happening to the district during transfers?
-2 Elders are going home. The British Elder is getting an Australian companion. That should be interesting!

What do you enjoy eating these days?
SALAD!!!!!! Spinach and I love each other a lot.

Well my recommended study this week is this months Ensign article titled, "The Gift of Our Physical Bodies." It really touched me.

I love you all!
Have a great week!
Love,
