First Impressions

Conner's Perspective: Justine was the cutest girl in the ward. She was a hard laugh. I tried to make her laugh in ward council, but Justine wouldn't crack. I could tell she was super classy and that she held herself to a high standard (not in a self-righteous way). She started dating another guy in the ward named, Kyle, and I thought that they were a great match because they seemed to be the most spiritual people in the ward. She was modest and stylish, and she ALWAYS looked good at 7:45am for Ward Council. Justine was always on my radar, but I felt like there was a line of guys waiting to date her. There were multiple times in my head where I wanted to talk to her, and the thought would come to my mind "What if she is your future wife?" I know now that that thought was from the spirit. Luckily, the spirit gave me multiple opportunities to act.

Justine's Perspective: I will never forget the first time I laid eyes on Conner Van Rockwood. He was singing with his roommates during Ward Prayer. They started out really strong, but the end of the song was rough. There was a key change that they didn't all quite make. But that was not the memorable part. The memorable part was the Conner was wearing very eye-catching faded red pants and his fly was wide open. All the guys in the audience were trying to motion to Conner to pull up his zipper, but Conner waited until the song was over as not to distract from the song. I learned a lot of things about Conner that day. The main one is that he can sing really well and that he is a team player. The next one is that he is good at recovering from embarrassment. The the last thing I learned about him is that at least once a week he will accidentally have his fly down.
