THIS WEEK IS GOING TO BE THE BEST WEEK EVER!!!!

and do you wanna know why THIS WEEK IS GOING TO BE THE BEST WEEK EVER?????? BECAUSE CARLOS IS GETTING BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!! WOW!!! I am so so so excited! He has truly come so far in his life!!!! It has been such a blessing to teach him. To watch a Child of God utilizing the blessing of the atonement everyday is a miracle. He has worked so hard. You can see that it is hard for him, but his discouragement is outweighed by the blessings that the Lord has poured out to his family. Every lesson that we teach him is just so wonderful. Sometimes I feel like I can see a little glimpse of how our Heavenly Father sees him and my greatest wish is that in one year he and his family can be sealed for all eternity :) Well...in addition, this is my very first investigator baptized...I will probably cry the entire time!

Here is reason number two why THIS WEEK IS GOING TO BE THE BEST WEEK EVER!!!! WE HAVE THREE PROGRESSING INVESTIGATORS THAT ARE SO TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! They are all loving the lessons and they have testimonies that are growing everyday! Speaking of testimonies...I went up and bore my testimony in Spanish yesterday!!! It was so scary but totally awesome! I mixed up a word though...I was trying to explain to the congregation that since I was a child my testimony has grown from a seed to a tree and I was incorporating Alma 32 because that is my favorite chapter right now...but instead of saying seed (which in Spanish is semilla) I said week (which is Spanish is semana). Hahahahah! In my defense they are pretty similar words :) The Elders and my Hermana were cracking up and they took a video of it...real mature!!!!

I loved Fourth of July this last week!!! IT WAS AMAZING TO SEE ALL THE FIREWORKS! Vegas goes crazy with their fireworks! We found a huge hill and watched all the fireworks in the valley. It was gorgeous!!!

Well...tomorrow I am going on exchanges and I will be serving in a English ward in Henderson for the day!!! I am so excited to compare the differences between teaching in English and Spanish!!!!! :) Wish me luck!

Well I love you all! Remember that Jesus knows how you feel and that whatever you are suffering through, you can take your burdens to him. He will heal you. I have also received so many blessing in my life from constant prayer, going to church, and reading my scriptures. If you feel like your relationship with our Heavenly Father could improve...do those things.

I know this Church is true! I know it. I live it. I love it :)

Funny story about the rice crispy treats... so my district leader loves loves loves Krispy Kreme...but the store is in our area and they cannot leave their area for stuff like that...plus it is too far for them to bike. Well, they have been begging us to get them Krispy Kreme donuts for a long time and we always tell them no because we don't want to mess up their diet. (Two of the Elders in my district are doing the "Herbal Life" diet...which is just these drinks that you make with herbal life powder that looks like sand/rabbit food and you just drink those for breakfast and lunch and then you have a normal dinner...other elders recommended this to them because they lost 20 pounds doing it...but I'm pretty sure that the minute they go off of it, they will just gain all the weight back.) Anyway....Sister Furstenau and I just can't bring ourselves to ruin their diet, so we told them no like a million times. Well, last week at the store, Sister Furstenau told me that her family has a tradition of making rice crispies every 4th of July and she wanted to keep the tradition alive. I was down for that because I love me some rice crispies. Then I had the idea of making some of our batch into the shape of doughnuts :) GENIUS...I KNOW!!! (plus...we couldn't eat all the rice crispies anyway!) Then we went to Krispy Kreme and asked for a box and took them to correlation meeting so we could give them to the elders. (I was pretty much doing my signature laugh all day long because I was so excited to trick them:)) They were SO FOOLED!!! They saw the box and they were like "WOW SISTERS YOU ARE THE BEST EVER!!!!" Then they open the box and were like ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... :) HAHAHAHAHA!!!! but they really liked them! All in all it was a really good day!
