:):):)

Well hello out there!!!!!
It's just me...reporting on this last week!!!! Of course it was excellent :)
Hermana P and I got to go to the temple again. The Las Vegas temple is literally the most beautiful temple I have ever been in. It is so excellent to just go there and meditate for an hour or two. Our mission president so, so awesome to let us even go to the temple.
We also had a huge zone conference this week. I was asked to lead the music.....I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW TO LEAD MUSIC!!!!! But I tried and it went pretty well. The choir was my zone and they sing really well, so I just had to stand in front and look pretty while waving my arms :)
Then the next day we had the huge ward fiesta!!!! The members got so into it!!!! It was adorable. All the Hermanas dressed up and out ward mission leader was the dj...I wanted to try my first tamale but they were in high demand....maybe another time :)
Things are going really well here in North Las Vegas :) I am sad that it is starting to get cooler. I have come to love the hot weather. I feel like when it is hot then I am having to work harder; and when I work harder, I have less things to worry about :) But the cool has offered a lot of blessings. There are many more people out on the streets to talk to and peoples schedules are much more stable because of the school season!
Right now we are teaching Charo's kids. They have had a hard life. but they have soft hearts and they love when we come over. Also....Charo's husband is being visited by the missionaries while he is in the detention center! The missionaries are the first people that have come to visit him in 8 months and he is loving the discussions.

I am loving being with Sister Parkinson. She has taught me so much. She has taught me to be more humble. She has taught me a lot of Spanish. I have had many opportunities to grow and practice my Spanish. I feel a lot more comfortable with my Spanish now. I love making phone calls to confirm appointments and dinners. I love sharing spiritual insights in Spanish. Those things were hard for me before because I felt really nervous to try. I am so grateful that she helps me try and corrects me when I say something wrong or forget a word. She is such a blessing.

Thank you tons for the letters and the love. Every single one means so much to me. I love hearing how everyone is doing and the support has come just when I needed it.
Sometimes I find myself singing that Brandon Flowers song that goes like...."Rise up like the sun...Labor till the work is done:)" I love it.
Love,
Hermana Tucker
