The Life of a Missionary is...AWESOME.AMAZING.FUN.SPIRITUAL...and then some
ALOHA..... MI AMIGOS AND AMIGAS AND ENAMIGOS AND ENAMIGAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope you all are having a dandy day.
My week has been just dandy. This next week is going to be even dandier because.....MARIA GUATALUPE IS GETTING BAPTIZED!!!!!!!!!!! BEST DAY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! Seriously....there
is nothing sweet for a missionary then to see someone take a step of faith
and enter into the fold of Christ. I LOVE IT!!! And Christ loves it too.
I know that because of the love I feel from Him for Maria Guatalupe.
It hasn't been easy to get her to this point, but the time is here. I
often wonder why I am so lucky? Why do I get to teach the golden people
right as they become the elect and decide to get baptized? Why do I get
to bear my testimony to them? Why do I get to sit there and cry while
they enter into the waters of baptism? I am one lucky girl.
In addition to that, CHARO ORTIZ IS GETTING BAPTIZED IN TWO WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!! I
just love her so much. She has so much faith. She is going to change
lives. She has already changed my life. She has so much hope even though
her life has been so hard and that is inspiring to me. The gospel has
just made her stronger :)
Well
that is my life so far. Being on a mission is amazing. I have been
thinking about the questions that Sister Culter asked me for the video
and I think I would change a few of my responses. As far as sacrifices go,
being on a mission is no sacrifice at all. Jesus Christ
is the one that made the ultimate sacrifice. He makes this possible. My
family makes it possible. School and friends and other stuff is all
trivial compared to that. I would also like to expound on my response as to
how I have changed. I think I have become a lot more Christ minded.
This has been made possible through personal prayer and scripture study.
I hope that everyone who is reading this will try harder to do those
two things. I promise that a greater light will come into your life and
you will feel your Savior's love more clearly. I know this because I have
felt it :)
Well....I LOVE YOU ALL! THANK YOU FOR THE LETTER EACH WEEK!!!! THEY MAKE MY WEEK FULL OF SUNSHINE AND HAPPINESS :)
Stay Sweet,

IT WAS SO GOOD! You can tell the elders liked it too!
This was a dance we helped set up for as service!!!
It was a 50's theme.
We all ate a jalapeno at dinner. I almost died. This is the can that almost killed me.
A sunset :)
