Well Hello :)
HOLA MI AMIGOS :) :) :)
Esta semana pasada fue muy muy muy bien :)
Translation: This past week has been very, very, very good!!! :)
I have so many funny stories!!!! First story: There is a sister in the
English ward named Sister Nolan. A few weeks ago she tracked us down in
Church and asked us to come and visit her because she is single so the
Elders in her ward cannot usually come over. We said we would get
together with her soon. She is super nice and awesome!!!! Well a few
weeks passed and we saw her again at church. She was limping so we asked
her what happened. She was unfortunate enough to be in a 7-11
store while it was being robbed. She slipped and fell as she was trying
to avoid the robber. It was terrible. Well...then on Thursday we were at
district meeting and the Zone Leaders were expressing some concerns
they had with an investigator named Moses. Apparently he does not
believe in God, ironic since his name is Moses...and to top it all off
he had recently robbed a 7-11 and he did not feel bad about it.
Turns out it was the same 7-11 that Sister Nolan was at. The Zone
Leaders probably should not ask her to come to a lesson with Moses :) :)
:)
Second
story: I went on an awesome exchange with a Sister from Peru!!!! Sister
Cardenas :) We went to pick up a member about halfway through the
exchange and it turns out that they were practically related to the same
people in Peru.....they stared crying and it was adorable :)
Third
Story: At church last Sunday the gospel principles teacher did not show
up. We were worried about how she was doing so we went to visit her on
Wednesday....and SHE HAD A BABY BOY named Leonel!!!! He is the most
adorable thing ever!!! He was so tiny!!!! It reminded me of when Gavin
was born!!! So cute :)
We
had interviews with President Neider on Friday!!! He is such
an inspired man!!!! I am excited to see how things turn out for this
next transfer :) I talked with Sister Neider about my skin because it is
so dry here!!! I am all set to go to the dermatologist. FUN!!!! Sister
Fursetnau and I were sick yesterday and we had to leave church early. I
had a fever for a few hours but I am feeling 90% better now. Just a
little weak! At about 6pm Saturday night, the bishop asked Sister Furstenau and I to speak in church. That was interesting...but the gift
of tongues is real and I had enough strength to keep standing, so all
in all it was a pretty good day :)
Bethani complained that
I do not write as much as Sister Furestenau.....if you want a more
in depth look into the life of us you can read her blog. Bethani found it
through her Facebook page.
GUESS
WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHARO IS GETTING BAPTIZED THIS WEEK!!!! She is
keeping the word of wisdom and progressing everyday :) She is so amazing
and kind. She has fellowshipped our other investigators. She has been
such a blessing.
Well
that has been my week so far. Something that I have been trying for my
scripture study is studying with a new inexpensive Book of Mormon. There is an awesome
article in this months Ensign called a " A New Writing" and that is
what inspired me to start fresh. I know that through this we can receive
more revelation for our daily lives :) It is amazing....WELL...i just
want you all to know that you are my favorites. I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!
Thank you for all the letters and prayers :) I feel so blessed!!!
Remember you are a child of God :)
Love,
Hermana Tucker
Sister Johnson!!!!!
The day of exchanges with Hermana Cardenas.
BABY BOY named Leonel!
Elder Cash listening to the ocean.
