Lovin Life
Hola All You People of The World!!!!
This photo is from exchanges :)
Sister Cardenas is in pink and Sister Zagarra is in yellow.
We went to a gross hole in the wall diner after district meeting. Not my idea. The Elders got the monster burger challenge. No prize....nothing...maybe a sick stomach.
Our new reminder technique so that we remember to ask for referrals....put a sticky tab on your nose with the words "ASK FOR REFERRALS"
Some funny drawing by Elder Morris :)
IT POURED RAIN. (I thought for a minute I was in Hawaii or North Carolina!:)
This
week has been so wonderful. So many blessings and tender mercies. Our car broke down again...but we have the most amazing zone leaders and
district leader who helped us get to the really far places. We have been
almost a whole week without a car. Tomorrow is our one week "No car"
anniversary. BUT we should be picking up our car tomorrow at the mission
office. WHAT A BLESSING!
Another blessing....CHARO AND HER BEST FRIEND NORMA WERE BAPTIZED.
It has been such a pleasure to teach Charo. I can see how much the
gospel has brought a new peace into her life. After the baptism we got 2
new investigators....HER CHILDREN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The baptism was
so spiritual and wonderful that they want to be baptized too!!!! I am
so excited to start teaching them.
We
went on exchanges this last week! It was great to see a new
perspective on missionary work!!! Sister Zagarra doesn't know any Spanish
so it was interesting trying to communicate. She is awesome!!! I hope
my next companion speaks no English!!! That would be the best ever!!!! I
think my Spanish would get a lot better :)
Thank you so much for every letter and every email!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love them!!! I am trying to respond :) :) :) :)
I HOPE EVERYONE HAD A GREAT FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!
I MISS YOU ALL :)
LOVE YOU!!! BYE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love,
Hermana Tucker
THIS IS JACKI GARCIA!!!!!!!! I am starting to think every Garcia in the WHOLE WORLD IS SUPER AWESOME!!!!!!
CHARO AND NORMA WERE BAPTIZED!!!!!!!!!! It was the most beautiful baptism I have ever been to :)
