The Night is Dark and I am Far from Home... Lead thou me on

 WELL HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw this really awesome Mormon message today! It is really cool and I know that I could really feel the spirit! Check it out:

Let me just tell you....I think we have driven 100 miles today :)

It has been LOCO!

We drove to Anthem, the mission office, the store, the pharmacy (which did not even have the prescription ready) back home, picked up mail, dropped off mail, and then drove all the way downtown to email right now!!!!! YIKES! We had to talk to the vehicle coordinator and break the news to them that there is no way we are staying in our 900 mile limitation. Granted, we did have to take on a new ward this transfer and we have tons of exchanges to do!

Despite all that we had a week of successes!
We have been focusing on our street contacts and making sure that we TALK WITH EVERYONE!!!!! It is hard, but it is so worth it :) We have made this our focus this transfer because we are doing a Sister Training Leader training at Zone Conference on overcoming our fears of street contacting. Luckily, Sister Nichols is a boss at this and so we have been doing really well. I know that when it comes to this aspect of missionary life the phrase " you get what you go for!" is really true! It is all about having a vision and seeing yourself accomplishing it well in your head. We had a goal to talk to 70 people and we were able to talk with 68! Next week will be even better! We have had a lot of return appointments but most of the time it just so happens that the people are not home.

This upcoming week we have a baptism planned! It is going to be super great! The man,s name is Richard. He is so golden. He reads the Book of Mormon everyday, he is living the Word of Wisdom, and he is getting his son involved! His life is filled with so much light now! We wants this more than anything. I am grateful that I could be an instrument to go between him and the spirit! It has been an amazing journey.

I went on exchanges with Sister Robbins this last week. She is a totally amazing missionary. She is very well trained and disciplined. She knows how to teach by the spirit and have fun. I was impressed with her ability to teach and to naturally converse. I notice that missionaries have a hard time with that when approaching strangers, but not Sister Robbins! She makes it natural and uplifting. She is doing well and working hard. I had a great time working with her and learning from her. I LOVE EXCHANGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well now we have to head off to the west mission to pick up some x-ray films for Sister Nichols!!!! OH NO!!!! OUTER DARKNESS!

Guess what! Pretty soon my little sister will be joining the ranks of missionary service. THAT'S RIGHT!!!! SHE TURNED IN HER PAPERS ON WEDNESDAY!!!! The whole day I was freaking out and telling everyone! I just love her so much!

I hope that you have a great week!

Love,
Sister Tucker

WE WENT TO THE TEMPLE :) we walked the grounds with Richard. He is getting baptized on SATURDAY :)
I thought this was a cool shot!
