Two steps closer :):):)

ALOHA MIS AMIGOS!!!!

How are you doing? I am superb :)

Well....I don't really know how to tell you the news so I will express it in all caps....

I AM GETTING TRANSFERRED TO HENDERSON....and not only that but...I WILL BE ENGLISH SPEAKING!!!!!!! Entonses...yo no speako espanol!!!!

WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(That was my reaction!) But, I must say, I am a pretty happy missionary right now for 3 reasons:

1. My new companion Sister Davis will be awesome. I have only heard wonderful things about her!!!! :) :) :) She is from Texas and she is super "with it" and fun!!! Yippy :)

2. I know that everything I have learned for my Spanish area will help my with being in an English area because I tend to talk a lot and Spanish has helped me not do that :)

3. I AM TWO STEPS CLOSER TO BRANDON FLOWERS (not that that is eternally important, but it would be nice to see him) BECAUSE HE LIVES IN HENDERSON AND HE SPEAKS ENGLISH!!!! Oh happy day :)

So...life is good now. And I will still get to study Spanish everyday for 1 hour...so I won't "lose it" (not that I have it :))

Well the rest of this week has been really awesome. Elder Bruce Carlson of the 2nd Quorum of the 70 came!!! His training was awesome! He talked about the atonement and my mind was blown!!!! I guess I had never really considered how Heavenly Father felt while his son was suffering...or as Ash would say "suffing" :) hahahah!

Some funny things that happened this week:

It rained for 3 days straight. and it was 40 degrees. I didn't think that was possible for Vegas.

There was also this hilarious woman outside of one of the homes we were trying to contact that was looking for her cat and saying "kitty! kitty! KITTY!!!!" and she was also meowing for it :) hahahah! We were dying laughing! We should have tried to help her!!!! I make a great cat call!

Sister Parkinson and I were both sick. We slept for about 24 hours. Then we got back to work. I didn't realize I could sleep that long!!!! It was terrible! BUT....we are all better now....just lost about 5 pounds....not fun....but it is funny to think about how pitiful we were for two days!!!!

I have been reading through all the conference talks in my personal study!!!! I really like the one about sabbath day attendance and Elder Packer's talk was better the second time for me!!!! I know that God is in the details of your life and my life. My mission continues to teach me this. I saw this serving for almost 6 months in the El Rancho ward as I witnessed the miracles and blessing with the people I served there. I'm looking forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for the people I am blessed to serve in Henderson!!

Well............I WISH YOU ALL A HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!! I will be eating a real thanksgiving meal....probably with no beans (oh yeahhhhhhhhh :))
