I GOT MY TRAVEL PLANS!

Yes! That is right! They came at the most convenient time. Friday night, after P-day, after I emailed y'all!

OH WELL!

GUESS WHAT?!?

I don't have to report to the travel office at 3am! I am very happy about that. This girl needs her sleep! I get to report at 5am:) YAY! Did you notice that my flight shows like 20 minutes of flying?  HAHAHA! Just kidding:) There is a time change, so it is actually 1 hour and 20 minutes, still not bad:)  There is a total of 21 in my travel group and our travel leader is Sister A which makes me think that it is mostly all sisters in my group going to Las Vegas because usually it is an Elder who is the travel leader.  OH, I forgot to tell you what day I leave...JUNE 12, 2013! Right on schedule:) I have loved the MTC so far, but I am also really excited to get out into the field:) Life is good!

OH! I also have a cool story for you.  So...after my companion and I were finished emailing, we went to eat lunch.  We ate quickly because we decided not to do a session, but instead help with another service in the temple. :) For this, there is usually quite a line, so we wanted to get their early.  As we were walking, I felt like we should walk faster. I motivated my companion and I by saying we could only take two steps per sidewalk square. By doing this, we were forced to take longer strides and walk faster.  It became a game:)

Once we got to the temple, we calmed down and went inside. (P.S. I love my companion!!!)
As we walked into the temple, I see Sis. Heather Tew walking toward me! AHHHHH! It was so great to see her and give her a big hug. :) She said that her family is doing well and I asked about Emily moving to Utah. I am so sad that Ashley and Bryce won't have her next year as a seminary teacher, but Utah is pretty awesome and her family is here. OH the good ol' days of seminary. I learned so much that has prepared me for my mission. Every year I was in seminary strengthened my testimony. I hope my siblings and all the youth take it seriously no matter who the teacher or students are:) It is AWESOME!!!

Sis. Tew's mom, Sis. Mangum was also there. She is doing well:) It was so cool that I got to see them and I know it was no coincidence.  If Hermana Young and I hadn't been walking fast, Sis. Tew would have already been in the parking lot and we wouldn't have seen her once we got to the temple.  It is such a small world:)

Some funny quotes for you:
Elder Lautuo to Hermana Lewis when she is struggling with Spanish, "Just give up. Learn Chinese. It is easier."  As he was saying that, he was flipping through the Law of Chasity pamphlet.  It was very funny.

Hermana Young and I quote: "You're my amiga, but they are enemigas. " Note: enemiga means enemy in Spanish.

Well, I love you all HEAPS and HEAPS!

Love,
Herman A. Tucker

P.S I should be able to call before my flight leaves:)
