"I do believe I have been changed for the BETTER"

 Alohaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been a wonderful week! Life it super good!

I must say though....I really really miss Sister Davis. She left me lots of reminders so that I can miss her more and more everyday. GREAT!!! She put sticky notes in my Preach My Gospel, she left me a present, and she left an amazing legacy! She is just so super amazing.

Well I will tell you about our last final hours together:

Monday we went to see everyone and their dog. I don't even like dogs! We stopped by lots of people so that Sister Davis could say goodbye! It was bitter sweet. We went by the Hymas family and Jacob's house. All of them were super sad to see Sister Davis leave. Jacob even said he would go inactive because she was being transferred, (but he was just kidding...he still went to church on Sunday.) Then we taught the Law of Chastity to Dustin and Maddie. We were a little apprehensive about this lesson and didn't know how they would take it...but it went great! They told us that they want to get married and be a happy little family! Then we taught the Word of Wisdom to Chermayne....and....SHE LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was super awesome! She said that she wants to live to a good old age and that the Word of Wisdom would help her do that! :) We also made visits to see the Ballard family, the Jones family, Sister Taylor, and the Brown family. These families have supported us so much in the work here! We love them :)

Tuesday was transfer day!! I met Sister Pantoja, my new companion!! She is amazing and a really good example to me. She is from MONTANA!!!!!! Whoop whoop! Billings to be exact! I love her sooooo much. So anyways, We three packed it because Sister Davis was still here until 3pm..... And so it was really awesome :) I will forever be changed because of Sister Davis. I will miss her to the sun and back! Before she left we had pizza because she loves pizza! Then we started introducing Sister P to her new ward!

Wednesday we practiced with some members our lesson and they are excited to do missionary work with us :) They are all amazing!!! They have family mission plans and are really trying to help us. :)  One of them is the Honeycutt family. :) They are hilarious! I also introduced Sister P to the Faux family, the Reed family, the Woolf family, the Durham family, and the Nielson family. And we had a lesson with Dustin and Maddie today and they are just amazing. And we have a baptism next week for our investigator Chermayne...Today we had a lot of lessons with members and Sister P and I taught together well!

Thursday was another awesome day!! We got to teach Dustin and Maddie and more members. I am really going to miss this area when I leave... I got to introduce Sister P to Mama Jones :)  She has a daughter serving a mission in Scotland and Ireland. :) We also had another lesson with Dustin and Maddie and they are just doing really well and I am excited for Dustin to get baptized. :) We also saw Jacob who is 19 and getting ready for the marines. He has a really small testimony and so we are helping him so that his testimony will grow :) Yup, that is pretty much all that has happened here today!!

Friday was pretty chill. Sister Pantoja and I went to the doctor. This mission always picks out the best doctors for the missionaries. All is well in that department. I am just glad I didn't get called to Africa. We had dinner with Sister Day for the first time...She is super awesome sewing lady!!! She could make anything!!!!! She said that next p-day we could make skirts with pockets and keep them! BINGO!!!! After that, Sister P got to meet the Munoz family! We are working on reteaching them the lessons! We love to teach the gospel principles!!!!

Saturday was a special day!!! It's the day we get ready for Sunday!!! We had a wonderful first lesson with Sean and his girlfriend Tamera! She is from Haiti :) THE SPIRIT WAS SO, SO, SO STRONG WHEN SISTER P SHARED THE FIRST VISION WITH THEM! Tamera got chills and kept saying "WOW" over and over again! I love the message of the Restoration. Then we saw Matt! He is already in the book of MOSIAH!!!!! Baller! He is so great! On Sunday we gave him an assignment to give out invitations for Chermayne.s baptism to everyone!!!! He was so happy to do it! He is the best.

Sunday was Sister P's first Sunday in Q-Ridge. Maddie and Dustin were there and so was Ashley!!! It is an amazing feeling when investigators are at church :) It just warms our heart! We had a wonderful meal with the Lewis family and found out that Sister P and them are practically related. Just before dinner Sister P said, "I wish I could eat with my family...I really miss them." and low and behold.....look what happened. DINNER WITH PRACTICALLY FAMILY! Heavenly Father is good to us! After that we had a lesson with the Harlows. They have 3 little boys that love pokemon.....so does Sister P!!!! Perfect!
