Life Since: THE MISSION

To be honest...I have some extra time on my hands, so I have decided that for my children's sake I WILL UPDATE MY LIFE ON THIS BLOG.

Here is the timeline of events:

October 2014: I got home from my mission. There were lots of tears involved.

October-December 2014: Worked at Target, Old Navy, Bath and Body Works, and Ulta (for one day. hehe!!). These were seasonal jobs, and let me tell you...I AM SO GRATEFUL TO NEVER HAVE TO WORK ANOTHER BLACK FRIDAY EVER AGAIN!!! Those sweet souls at Target do not get paid enough.

January 2015: Started at BYU. Dropped Ashley Jane off at the MTC. Oh wow. It was sooo cold. My little Hawaiian/Las Vegan soul could hardly handle it. Some terrible lady over the dietetics program at BYU scared me out of my dream major, so THANK YOU SCARY LADY!!! I didn't want to be in your very very very hard major anyway!!! I was roommates with Sister Davis. It is sad how long it to me to call her Laekynn. Winter semester was full of sweet temple trips, cute boys, and some studying.

April 2015: Met some very dear friends, Coco and Eve, and we had the best summer. One of my favorite things that we did was road trip to the Northwest. Cannon beach- I WILL COME BACK!

September 2015: Some where between the scary lady in the dietetic department (is there a rate my advisor site?) and Chem 101 I changed my major to EXERCISE AND WELLNESS. I highly recommend this. The class are things like Mind, Body Health, Women's Health Issues, Science of Wellness, and other wonderfully awesome classes. I found my niche! What a game-changer. I also turn 22 in September. It was one of the best birthday parties I have ever had. Shout out to my girl COCO! This was also the month that I met my husband. (Although, I did not figure that out for almost a year.)

December 2015: Discover the magic of Christmas on the beach and now I cannot have it any other way. That is all.

January- May 2016: Dated some not-as-wonderful-as-Conner guys. All pictures deleted.
June 2016: STARTED DATING THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!!! It's crazy how naturally it all happened. I don't think that we could be so opposite, yet so alike. He is a Colorado kid, athlete, tall, dark haired, and handsome kind of guy. I'm an east coast, girly-girl who was a dancer, and I am pretty blonde. BUT! We clicked. More about the whole story will be in another post. For now it sufficeth me to say that we fell in love.
